Information Technical Officer – Finance and Business

We currently have a fixed term vacancy for a period of six months within our Finance and Business Department for an Information Technical Officer.
You will be researching and processing property and records related information and providing this to our customers. Ideally you will have experience in research in a similar type of environment, familiarity with integrated computer systems and a good understanding of the MS Office suite. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are also important to fit within this well established, professional team.

Assistant Librarian - District Facilities
This position will close for applications on May 12, 2008.
A position is available for an Assistant Librarian to join our District Library team based at Procter Library, Kerikeri, on a part time basis of nine hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays.
Your primary focus will be to maintain excellent customer service by providing high quality library and information services.
You will have:
- Extensive experience in a Libraries environment
- Good general knowledge and great communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Competency in keyboard skills and the ability to learn how to use relevant software for library
- Experience in following procedures to ensure consistent practice
- Knowledge of excellent customer service practice including complaints resolution.

Customer Services Manager – Customer Focus & Culture

A vacancy has arisen within the Customer Focus and Culture department for a strong leader with excellent problem solving skills.
In this key role which is crucial to our success you will demonstrate high calibre interpersonal skills and the flexibility to communicate well with people on all levels of the organisation. Previous experience within the service industry or local government is required and a tertiary qualification in management or a similar field is desirable. You will have the versatility to utilise your knowledge of Information Communication Technology whilst diligently managing a budget and mucking in when required in times of crisis.
