Enterprise Northland is the economic development agency for the Northland region.
Their mission is to promote and encourage sustainable economic development for the benefit of the people of Northland.
Their vision is to develop a vibrant economy that creates wealth and high-skilled and high-waged jobs, which provides choices and opportunities for people to live, work, visit and invest in Northland, while sustaining its unique environment for present and future generations. Northland has its sights set on becoming the country’s top-performing economy of its type by 2007.
Enterprise Northland works in partnership with business and industry sectors, the economic development agencies and councils of Northland’s three districts, iwi, the Northland Regional Council, central government agencies and departments and other key stakeholders in the Northland economy.
Enterprise Northland is a not-for-profit organisation operated by the Northland Regional Council Community Trust and governed by a board of trustees.
Enterprise Northland was established in 2002 to drive the recommendations of the Northland economic development strategy, Northland Forward Together - Kokiri Ngatahi Taitokerau.

The New Zealand Lottery Grants Board was set up by Parliament to distribute the proceeds of state lotteries to the New Zealand community. It does this through Lottery Grants and direct payments to three statutory bodies:
- There is one Lottery National Community Committee and 11 Lottery Regional Community Committees. These make grants for projects that enable or encourage community self-reliance, capacity building and stability, opportunities for social, civil or cultural participation and reducing or removing barriers to such participation.
Lottery Community priorities include projects that have a community or social service focus, such as developmental or preventative projects, welfare and support services, and projects that help improve the well-being of people in the community
