Updated factsheets for eligible Ngawha SH12 properties and Ngawha Springs Township are available to download below. A hard copy of the relevant factsheet has been mailed to each property owner.
A Ministry of Health subsidy is funding the majority of the project. Property owners are contributing ten percent of private connection costs.
Property owners will be given notice of sewerage works to be carried out on their properties.
Project Construction Timeline
Stage 1: Complete
Installation of a sewer main along Ngawha Springs Road
Stage 2: November 2009 to June 2010
Install gravity sewer main generally through the rear of Ngawha State Highway 12 properties within the Area of Benefit and connect each to public sewerage.
