The Far North District Council’s Christmas – New Year opening hours are as follows:
Council offices
- Kerikeri (Procter Library) and Kaikohe Service Centres close from midday Thursday 24 December 2009 to 8am Tuesday 29 December 2009 and again from midday Thursday 31 December to 8am Tuesday 5 January 2010.
- Kaeo, Kawakawa and Rawene service centres close from midday Thursday 24 December 2009 to 8am Monday 11 January 2010.
- Kaitaia service centre closes from midday Thursday 24 December 2009 to 8am Tuesday 5 January 2010.
- Environmental Management (John Butler Centre, Kerikeri) closes from midday Thursday 24 December 2009 to 8am Monday 11 January 2010.
Libraries
- Kaitaia, Kerikeri, Kaikohe and Paihia libraries close from midday Thursday 24 December 2009 to 9am Tuesday 29 December 2009 and again from midday Thursday 31 December to 9am Tuesday 5 January 2010.
- Kawakawa & Kaeo libraries will close Thursday 24 December 2009 to 8am Monday 11 January 2010.
FNDC i-SITES Visitor Information Centres
- Paihia: Open Christmas Day 8 am - 2 pm. Boxing Day: 8 am to 7 pm. New Year’s Day: 9 am to 6 pm. Otherwise open through the holidays 8 am to 7 pm daily.
- Kaitaia and Hokianga: Closed Christmas Day. Open through the holidays 8.30 am to 5 pm daily
