With the introduction of the Waste Minimisation Levy on the 1 July 2009, the charge for disposing of refuse at the Far North District Council Refuse Transfer Stations will be:
65Ltr bag of household refuse $ 3.00
130ltr bag $ 5.00
240ltr Wheelie bin $10.00
Loose Refuse per m3 $40.00
Compacted Refuse and
Heavy Construction & Demolition per m3 $65.00
Whole Tyre and Greenwaste charges remain the same.
