Proposal To Temporarily Close Road to Vehicular Traffic

Notice is hereby given that for the purpose of holding the Fullers Kerikeri Half Marathon 2009 Street Party the Far North District Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.
During the proposed period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road.
An approved Traffic Management Plan will be in operation with Signage and Marshals.
Any person wishing to submit on or object to the proposal are invited to do so from the date of publication of this notice and should be addressed to the “Legal Administration Officer” and posted to Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440: faxed to (09) 4015363 or e-mailed to ask.us@fndc.govt.nz. Submissions should include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Submissions close 5pm Friday 30th October 2009.
Road proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:
- Kerikeri Road closed at intersection with Homestead Road
- Kerikeri Roadclosed at intersection with Fairway Drive
- Cobham Roadclosed at intersection with Hobson Avenue
opposite (Skate Park) - Masonic Lane closed approximately 50metres from Cobham Road
Time and Date of proposed closure:
3.30pm until 10pm, Saturday 21st November 2009.
The closure will apply to all motor vehicles except those that may be required for emergency purposes.
