Our Community Noticeboard is designed to promote events or activities that are beneficial to Far North communities.

If you have a not-for-profit community event happening in the Far North District area and would like it to appear on the Community Noticeboard page of our website, let us know the details using the electronic form provided.

Noticeboard Guidelines for Use

  • This Community Noticeboard is for use by the Far North community for not-for-profit community events
  • We have the right to refuse any request that promotes the sale of goods or services and have full discretion over what is displayed. 
  • We will not post advertisements for events which are being held for commercial gain.
  • This Community Noticeboard is for use by the Far North Community, we regret that we cannot advertise events taking place outside the Far North District.
  • We will not post any material that may be deemed inappropriate at the discretion of the council webmaster.
  • After submitting your form, the webmaster will e-mail you within 3 working days to confirm the details.
  • If you do not receive confirmation of your notice please contact the webmaster using our normal contact details
