Conditions relating to Resource Consents

If you are dissatisfied with the conditions of your resource consent, there are a number of actions you could take, including:

  1. Objecting to the Conditions
  2. Request and Extension of time
  3. Requesting a change or cancellation of the conditions

These actions are outlined in the pamphlets of the same name, available via this link, or by request from our service centres.

Use the Post Approval Application Form to request an extension of time, or to request a change or cancellation of the resource consent conditions.

Local authorities are responsible under the Resource Management Act for the monitoring of resource consents issued, and that the conditions set out in them are adhered to.
