Private Plan Change 3 - Kerikeri Falls Investments Limited

The Applicant proposes to rezone the existing site from Rural Living to a special zone known as “Quail Ridge Country Club Zone”. A new set of zone rules are to be introduced into the Plan, along with zone specific objectives, policies and methods of implementation related to the site and the wider area.

The Country Club has resort and retirement village components and a total of 273 units comprising of a mix of residential units including individual dwellings, duplexes, small groups of townhouses and multi storey apartments. At the centre of the site will be a clubhouse, 40 bed care facility and serviced apartments. All residential units will be held under licence to occupy arrangements and no subdivision is expected.

A range of recreational facilities will be provided, along with a variety of formal and informal landscaped areas. A pedestrian bridge across the Kerikeri River will link the village with the town centre and nearby golf course. 

Private Plan Change 2 - Borneo Investments Limited

The Applicant proposes to rezone the existing sites from Rural Living to Residential. It is not proposed to introduce new rules into the Plan, but merely apply an existing zone and associated objectives, policies and rules. 

Plan Change 1 - Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency

Plan Change 1 will introduce a new chapter to the District Plan providing policy direction and regulation on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
