Non-commercial vessels - use of wharves (including pontoons) and trailer-boat launching ramps
Annual Maritime facilities licence
Mooring Holders - $25.00 per annum
Trailer-Boat Owners (Boat Ramp Users) - $25.00 per annum
NOTES: All licenses are subject to annual renewal on 30th June.
The requirement for a licence applies to all users of recreational maritime facilities - including visiting vessels.
Licences apply to the facilities users (not to individual vessels). A mooring holder who also operates a trailer boat will require TWO licences. Mooring holders with more than one mooring will require a licence for EACH mooring held.
All other mooring ownership, application and other related fees are handled by the Northland Regional Council.

Use of facilities for vessel maintenance (by arrangement) with facilities manager Far North Holdings Ltd - $30.00 per 24 hours or part thereof.
Fee is GST Exclusive
All Vessels - Use of Inter-Tidal Grids at Mill Bay and Rawene
Casual facility fee for use of grid
Use of facility by arrangement with the facilities manager Far North Holdings Ltd - $15.00 per day
Fee is GST exclusive
Commercial passenger vessels/operators (other than fishing vessels) - use of wharves (including pontoons) and trailer-boat launching ramps
Annual facility fee for loading and unloading
Fee based on the maximum surveyed passenger numbers as stated on the safe ship management certificate
Fee per passenger - $92.29 per annum
Fee is GST exclusive
Casual facility fee for loading/unloading or maintenance
Per loading/unloading - $100.00
Fee is GST exclusive
Commercial fishing vessels - use of wharves (including pontoons) and trailer-boat launching ramps
Annual facility fee for loading and unloading
Fee based upon catch landed, collected by the Licensed Fish Receiver and forwarded to Far North Holdings Ltd
Wet fish - $21.60 per tonne
Crayfish - $86.40 per tonne
Scallops - $67.83 per tonne
Mussels/Oysters - $8.50 per tonne
Fee is GST exclusive
Casual facility fee for loading/unloading and maintenance
Per loading/unloading - $100.00
Fee is GST exclusive
Commercial Vessels/Operators Not Otherwise Described - Use of wharves (including pontoons) and trailer-boat launching ramps
Annual facility fee for loading and unloading and maintenance
Per vessel:
less than 6 metres/6 metres and over - $500 per annum
Fee is GST exclusive
Commercial Vessels - All Categories - Casual Berthage/Use of Facilities For Maintenance
Casual Use of facilities for Berthage and Maintenance
By arrangement with the facilities manager, Far North Holdings Ltd -
$30.00 per 24 hours or part thereoff
