A final inspection is required for every building consent. All work must be completed to the extent required by the consent.
The owner is required to apply for a Code Compliance Certificate on completion of the work. If a CCC has not been applied for within two years of the consent being granted, Council must decide if a CCC can be issued.
To start this process, apply for your final inspection. Click on the tabs below to find out what you need to do for Residential or Commercial final building inspections.
NOTE: You will apply for your CCC once your final inspection has taken place. This is a change to the normal process, and will help to streamline the processing of your CCC application.
