Procter Library

Procter Library.jpg

Procter Library is located in the heart of the town, on the edge of the Kerikeri domain. We welcome travellers to the north and local residents alike to come and visit - you’ll receive a friendly Far North welcome.

The library is named for the Procter family’s generous donation that helped build the facility for the town of Kerikeri and its surrounds. It is the largest library in the Far North region, and supports the beautiful fruit growing region just north of the Bay of Islands.

Services include public internet and wifi, assistance with digital devices, a hireable community meeting room and tourist information. Regular programmes include weekly storytimes for pre-schoolers, Lego club, Crafternoon, robotics and coding clubs, computer help sessions once a month, weekly JP clinics, Bibbliobabble Book Club, Armchair travel and so much more.
