Representation Review 2021 Final Proposal

Far North District Council adopted its final proposal for representation arrangements for at least the 2022 triennial local government elections on 4 November 2021. The final proposal followed a comprehensive engagement process to gain a better understanding of our District’s communities of interest and fair and effective representation for these communities.
 
 
If you do not agree with the proposal, you can lodge an appeal or objection using this form.
 
  • An appeal may be made by a person or organisation who submitted on the initial proposal about matters related to their original submission.
  • An objection may be lodged by any person or organisation on issues where the final proposal differs from the initial proposal. Your objection must identify the matters which your objection relates to.

Appeals/objections should state your name, telephone number and email address. Hard copies are available. They must be sent back to Council by email to submissions@fndc.govt.nz or handed in at any of our service centres (but not libraries).

The appeal / objection period for Council’s Representation Review 2021 final proposal starts on Friday, 12 November 2021 and ends at 5pm on Monday, 13 December 2021.
