Funding applications open for 2024 events

Event organisers can now apply for funding through the Northland Events Fund which aims to boost visitor numbers to Taitokerau Northland.
Applications opened today (9 November), and Northland Inc will hold a workshop next week to help prospective applicants with criteria and application processes and answer any questions.
Northland Inc, which delivers the Ministry for Business and Innovation (MBIE) Regional Events Fund into Taitokerau, hopes the successful applicants will contribute to an exciting events calendar in Northland throughout 2024.
The aim is to support events that will have a positive economic impact in the region and offer new and exciting experiences around Northland.
Next week’s applicants’ workshop is from 10am-12pm on Friday 17 November at The Orchard Business and Event Hub in Whangārei, either in person or online. If you would like to take part, register here.
