A digital treasure trove of funding opportunities in Aotearoa can now by explored thanks to Far North libraries renewing its subscription to Generosity NZ.

By using a Far North District library card, members can now explore and apply for billions of dollars in scholarships, grants, and awards via the online platform which can also be done from the comfort of your own home, previously it was only accessible in our libraries.

Generosity NZ provides funding information for individuals and groups, and links to corporate funding profiles via:

  • givME, which offers access to scholarships and grants for individuals towards education, research and fellowships, arts, cultural and sporting activities, career change, professional or personal development
  • givUS, which offers access to grants and schemes for communities, volunteer organisations, schools, groups, sport clubs and iwi. You can find assistance for nearly everything, including operational costs, building redevelopment and project-based resources

Signing up is easy, through an online form on our website. If you need help with signing up visit your nearest library and our friendly staff can help you. Once registered, future logins are simple, ensuring easy access to Generosity NZ's wealth of opportunities.

You can read more on the Generosity NZ website or pop into one of our libraries.
