The board also amended a resolution from its 14 March meeting which allocated $10,000 to the Coopers Beach Bowling Club in the 2022/23 financial year and another $10,000 in the 2023/24 financial year. The board will now pay the full amount of $20,000 in the 2022/23 financial year.

In other business, a deputation was heard from a community group of supporters who spoke about saving the mosaic tiled wall in Kaitāia where a new town centre is planned.

The next Te Hiku Community Board Meeting will be held on 4 July 2023 at Te Ahu.
