We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

Wishing you happy and safe holidays

Kahika (Mayor) Moko Tepania, elected members and council staff would like to wish all Far North residents and businesses a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We also want to welcome the thousands of visitors who will joining us over the holidays.

All council service centres are closed from noon on Friday 23 December and will reopen with normal hours on Monday 9 January 2023.
