Easter Sunday Trading Policy Statement of Proposal

Far North District Council has a policy that allows shops to trade on Easter Sunday in the Far North. This policy expires in February 2024. The council is proposing a new policy that will continue to allow Easter Sunday trading across the district.

The council is seeking feedback on the proposed new policy.  

The statement of proposal can be viewed at www.fndc.govt.nz/yoursay  or is available to view during normal business hours at council’s Kaikohe headquarters or at other council service centres or libraries on request.

Submissions can be:

  • ·online at the Council’s website www.fndc.govt.nz/yoursay
  • emailed to submissions@fndc.govt.nz
  • dropped into any council service centre or library
  • posted to: Strategy Development Team, Far North District Council, Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440
  • presented orally to the council’s Strategy and Policy Committee on 14 June 2022.

Submissions close 5pm Friday 10 June 2022.
