Public Notice of application for renewal and variation of club-licence

Section 101, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Mangonui Cruising Club Incorporated has made application to the Far North District Licensing Committee for renewal and variation of an club-licence in respect of the premises situated at 5 Silver Egg Road, Mangonui, Far North District, known as Mangonui Cruising Club.

The general nature of the business conducted under the licence is a class 3 club.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is sold under the licence are:

Existing hours:
Monday & Tuesday                          4.00pm to 10.00pm
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday      4.00pm to 12.00midnight
Thursday                                         4.00pm to 11.00pm
Sunday & public holidays                3.00pm to 10.00pm                       

A variation is sought to change the licensed area to change the licensed hours to the following:

Proposed hours:
Monday                                        12.00midday to 6.00pm
Tuesday                                       12.00midday to 3.00pm & 6.00pm to 9.00pm
Wednesday & Thursday              12.00midday to 3.00pm & 6.00pm to 10.00pm
Friday                                          5.00pm to 11.00pm
Saturday                                      12.00midday to 12.00midnight
Sunday                                        12.00midday to 6.00pm   

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Far North District Council, District Licensing Committee, Lower, John Butler Centre, 60 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Far North District Council, Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440.

No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
