Reduced opening hours for Council facilities

Temporary operating hours for Council facilities with Omicron

The current Omicron outbreak is impacting our people and we are experiencing staff shortages as a result. We are constantly reviewing levels of services at our service centres, i-SITEs, libraries and Museum @ Te Ahu.

We are reducing opening times for some of these services, in order to keep them available on an ongoing basis. We appreciate your patience while we get through this next stage of COVID-19.

Changes to our opening hours

Opening time changes (temporary)

  • Kaitāia Library and i-SITE in Te Ahu - closed this Saturday 21 May.

Opening time changes (until further notice)

  • Paihia Library - 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (closed Saturday).
