Public Notice of application for renewal of an On-licence & renewal & variation of an Off Licences

Section 101, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Nip Pourer Limited have made applications to the Far North District Licensing Committee for both renewal of an On-licence and renewal & variation of an Off-licence in respect of the premises situated at 573 State Highway 10, Taipa, Far North District and known as Taipa Tavern.

The general nature of the business conducted under the licence is a Tavern/Bottle Store.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is sold under the licence are:

On Licence:
Monday to Sunday 10.00am to 1.00am the following day.

Off Licence:
Monday to Sunday 10.00am to 10.00pm.

A variation is sought for the off licecne to remove the following conditions:
(g) No sales of single cans or bottles of ordinary commercial beer products, except for the more expensive craft beer priced at $6.00 per unit or higher.
(h) No single sales of cans or bottles of ready to drink spirits - RTD’s.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Far North District Council, Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440 or by emailing your objection to DLG@fndc.govt.nz.

No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
