Power outage temporarily closes council service centres

20 June 2024

Due to the region-wide power cut, all isites, council libraries, and council service centres will be temporarily closed from midday.

The outage is also affecting council water and wastewater services. Residents connected to these services are asked to conserve drinking water and to flush less often while the power remains off. Please report any strong wastewater odours or leaks by calling 0800 920 029. This line will remain open.
