Night works for Kawakawa

Traffic management and reduced speed limits will be in place in Kawakawa for one night this week while resurfacing work takes place.

The roads affected in the town are State Highway One, Gillies Street, Albert Street, Wynyard Street, and Commercial Street, with stop/go signs in operation on Thursday 20 June from 9pm to 3am.

Speed limits on the affected roads will be reduced to 30km/h during the work, which is being carried out by contractors Fulton Hogan on behalf of Far North District Council.

Drivers are being asked to reduce speeds and take extra care while the work is taking place.
