Round of a-paws for dog registration winners

Ten lucky dog owners are taking the lead as winners of this year’s Far North District Council dog registration promotion.

The lucky 10 walked away with a refund of their dog registration fees, as well as two 20kg bags of dog food for their four-legged friends.

The promotion aims to encourage pet owners to save money by registering their dogs when the best registration rates are available, making the whole process a walk in the park.

Registering dogs is an important part of responsible dog ownership and supports the well-being of the whole community. It helps to keep whānau and their pets safe and supports a well-managed hapori.

Bailey, one of the prize-winning dogs, is pictured receiving his treats. The lucky dogs, who enjoyed some prize treats thanks to their owners, are listed below:

  • Pie in Kaikohe
  • Snow in Kerikeri
  • Len in Kerikeri
  • Fling in Broadwood
  • Georgie in Rāwene
  • Jill in Kerikeri
  • Penny in Ōkaihau
  • Swift in Kerikeri
  • Niggz in Awanui
  • Bailey in Ōmanaia

You can find fees and charges information on our Register your dog webpage.
