Civil Defence in the Far North
The Far North is part of the Northland Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) Group which provides information on severe weather events and emergencies. When a civil defence emergency is declared, and an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is stood up, FNDC staff are key to this emergency response.
