Easter weekend break for libraries
Library customers are being urged to stock up on Easter reading with Far North libraries closing their doors over the long weekend. All six libraries will be closed from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April. Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 2 April.
Library customers are being urged to stock up on Easter reading with Far North libraries closing their doors over the long weekend.
All six libraries will be closed from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April. Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 2 April. Due dates for books and other loaned items have been extended and return slots will be open during the long weekend.
Library e-resources will still be available through library apps such as BorrowBox and Libby by OverDrive, providing 24/7 access to a range of online resources. These include online books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, movie streaming services, comic libraries, history databases and more. Click here for more information.
Far North isite Visitor Information Centres are open every day during Easter weekend with the Bay of Islands isite in Paihia open from 8am to 5pm and the Kaitāia and Hokianga isites open from 8.30am to 5pm.
