Young people who want their voices heard now have the chance to stand up for their communities on the Far North Youth Council (FNYC).
Young people who want their voices heard now have the chance to stand up for their communities on the Far North Youth Council (FNYC).
We know young people see the world in a unique way, so we want to hear what you think and how we can make the Far North a better place for rangatahi.
Applications open next week (2 April to 30 April) for people aged 15 to 24 to become part of the FNYC. Youth councillors will get the tools to build their networks, be an advocate for Far North youth, and be given opportunities for personal, professional development and growth.
Check out our video where Far North District Councillor Tāmati Rākena outlines why the voice of youth is so important to our communities and why we need you to get involved.
