Proposed Lease to Kohukohu Bowling Club Incorporated

Notice is given that Far North District Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977 and Far North District Council Significance and Engagement Policy 2021, proposes the lease to KOHUKOHU BOWLING CLUB INCORPORATED for the following site:

• 22 Beach Road, Kohukohu, Part Lot 2 DP 23934 and Pt Sec 81 Blk X Mangamuka SD, Title NA636/269, Recreation Reserve

The key terms of the proposed lease are as follows:
Term: 30 years (10+10+10)
Rent: $121 + GST perannum, reviewed annually as per FarNorth District Council Fees and Charges

Locality plan of the site is available at the Kerikeri, Kaitaia and Kaikohe Service Centres and online at www.fndc.govt.nz/haveyoursay.

Any person or organisation may object to the proposal or may make other submissions in respect of the proposal. Any person making an objection or submission should do so in writing and should state whether they wish to appear at a hearing in support of the objection or submission.

Objections or submissions should be forwarded to submissions@fndc.govt.nz, or by post to Submissions, Far North District Council, Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440 and must be received by Council no later than 4.30pm, 25th July 2025 being within the period specified by the Act.
