A proud Whangaroa mokopuna, I am committed to ensuring our communities thrive - Socially, Culturally, and Economically. My professional background includes working accross community engagement, social services, youth development and community initiatives, including my current position as Community Connector for Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services. I bring experience in building strong relationships between tangata whenua, Local businesses, Community Trusts and government agencies. I believe our Community Board should be proactive in driving change - from improving infrastructure and services, to championing initiatives that strengthen our relationships, promote our cultural identity and community resiliance.
