Road maintenance strategies

Councillors Ann Court and Rachel Baucke explained how two roading strategies are at work getting Far North roads fixed faster at the State of the Far North address in February 2026.

As well as the 'Find and fix' patrols, there is a new Maintenance Intervention Strategy which ranks reported defects and lines them up for repair.
