All those wanting to learn about preserving and managing Māori-owned land are reminded to attend Ōtiria Marae in Moerewa on Monday 16 December for the second in a series of hui aimed at providing information on whenua Māori in the Far North.
Vigilant Rāwene residents are being applauded for helping to prevent the town’s taps running dry over the weekend after several suspected water leaks were called into the council.
Unusually high water consumption could drain Rāwene’s water reservoir over the weekend and residents are urged to immediately report unusual water use or leaks to prevent taps running dry.
