Tuia Rangatahi leadership programme

The Tuia Rangatahi Leadership Programme, associated with the Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs, is an intentional, long-term, intergenerational approach to develop the leadership capacity of rangatahi Māori throughout New Zealand.

Tuia creates opportunities for rangatahi and local leaders to learn alongside one another. Through regular mentoring and national wānanga, participants build confidence, civic leadership skills and peer networks.
