Applications due for Summer Rural Travel Fund

Rural school and club teams looking for financial support for tamariki to attend summer sport training and events need to get their applications in by 25 July 2025.

This funding round will be earlier than previous years, due to elections affecting the three Far North community boards that make funding decisions.

The Rural Travel Fund, set up by Sport New Zealand, is part of the Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa Programme that aims to reduce barriers for rangatahi and tamariki between the ages five to 18 years old to compete in sport.
