Your Voice Our Community

Candidate statement:

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community Board, representing Waipapa. I’ve really enjoyed the work and the opportunity to advocate for our local communities. As a board, I believe we’ve made sound, balanced decisions that reflect the needs and values of our people. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together - from supporting local initiatives to improving community facilities and I’ve always aimed to bring a practical, common-sense approach to the table.
I’m standing again because I care deeply about our area and want to continue being a strong, reliable voice for Waipapa. With continued population growth and pressure on infrastructure, it’s more important than ever to have local representation that listens, understands, and works to get things done. I’d love the opportunity to keep representing you and contributing to a better future for our communities.
