Step 1.Property details

Before you begin, you will need to know the address or legal description of the property you are interested in.

Step 2.Payment options

Be ready with your Visa or Mastercard to make payment using our secure payment gateway.

Important information

The cost of the LIM is $292.00 (incl. GST) plus the convenience fee (as at 1 July 2021).

An online convenience fee of 1.5% will apply to this transaction. This fee is not received by FNDC and will appear on your card/account statement. 

Step 3.Certificate of Title

Obtain the Record of Title (Certificate of Title) for the property you are interested in, from Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). https://www.linz.govt.nz/

You will upload this document to your application.

Step 4.Request your LIM

Click on the Apply now button and then select Applications >New Application within the My FNDC homepage.

Do it in person

Step 1.Visit us

You can request and pay for a LIM at any of our Service Centres.

Step 2.Property details

Make sure you have the address of the property you are interested in.

Step 3.Record of Title

Give a copy of the record of title for the property to our service centre staff.

Step 4.Payment

You can pay the fee using credit card, debit card, EFTpos or cash.

How will I receive the LIM?

We provide your LIM to you via an email link, where you can download and save this report.
