November 2025 decisions
Community events that provide opportunities for whānau to connect, enjoy local entertainment, and celebrate this festive season and beyond were the focus of funding approvals by Far North community boards at their November meetings.
Ngā Anahera Pākiri Bald Angels, a charity that supports vulnerable children and families, received funding from all three community boards for its annual Christmas kai project, which ensures local whānau in need get to enjoy a special meal together during the holiday season. The charity aims to reach 400 whānau, including between 1200 and 1500 taitamariki, with this initiative.
