Far North Distict Council Home
Water Supply Update - Week beginning 8 February 2010
The Far North is on the verge of a drought and the dry weather is predicted to continue until late March or early April. The Council is monitoring its reservoir levels closely throughout the district. All water supply systems are holding well currently although some pressure remains in the Bay of Islands and restrictions may need to be imposed at Kaitaia if there's no further rain.
