Join the library

Step 1.Visit your local branch

It doesn't matter which branch you join, you are free to use any of the Far North Libraries.

Step 2.Bring your ID

We need to see two forms of identity, one showing us a photo and one with proof of your address in the Far North (your driving licence and a utility bill, for example).

Step 3.Under 18?

If you are under 18, you are welcome to join! You just need to bring a parent or guardian with you, and they will need to show us photo ID and proof of address

Step 4.Receive your library card

We will give you a library card there and then, explain the terms and conditions of your membership and answer any questions you may have.
