Agile delivery for newsletters

Keeping operators up-to-date about legislation changes, permit requirements or seasonal issues just got easier with a new delivery system that creates an easy-to-read version for mobile phone users.

A more efficient, trackable system for delivering seasonal newsletters to food and alcohol businesses, that also reformats the content for mobile phone users, has been initiated by the council.

Keeping operators up-to-date about any legislation changes, permit requirements or seasonal issues have made the newsletters a handy tool for operators since the first edition last October (2021).

As well as working with operators to ensure the safety of their food, alcohol, and customers, every newsletter highlights a local business with a photo feature layout.

The new ‘Constant Contact’ system for delivering the newsletters collects statistics on how many are opened, what people are interested in, and if any email addresses have ‘bounced’ to help ensure future emails get the right information to the right people.

Anyone with suggestions for what to include in the newsletter, or who wants to sign up to receive them, can contact the Environmental Health Team by emailing ask.us@fndc.govt.nz
