Christmas parades are coming next month
Santa and his many helpers will be spreading Christmas joy in Paihia, Kaitāia and Kaikohe next month. To ensure that everyone gets to see Saint Nick safely, road access will be reduced for several hours in each town.

Friday 1 December
Santa will kick off the local Christmas season in Paihia for an afternoon Christmas parade. The road closure begins at 4pm and will include 25 to 37 Williams Road.
Saturday 2 December
Santa’s sleigh will then whisk its way to Kaitāia. Part of Commerce Street will be closed to traffic from 11am to 2pm. The closure will stretch from 50 Commerce Street to 139.
Friday 15 December
After a week-long breather, Santa Claus will delight tamariki in Kaikohe on Friday 15 December. The parade will begin at 5pm on Wihongi Street turn right onto Broadway and make its way to Tawanui Street where it will turn around at the intermediate school bus bay and make its way back to Wihongi Street.

5pm Kerikeri Christmas at Kerikeri Domain
Sunday 10 December
11am Kāeo Hineraumati Christmas Parade at Whangaroa College.
