Masks no longer required at council sites

From start of business on 13 September 2022, masks are no longer required to be worn at council sites and facilities.

From start of business on 13 September 2022, masks are no longer required to be worn at council sites and facilities.

While masks are no longer required, we support and respect those staff, contractors or visitors who want to continue to wear them while at our sites or undertaking work on our behalf.

According to expert advice, wearing face masks helps reduce the spread of COVID-19 and are useful in poorly ventilated, indoor areas and when you are around people you do not know. People who test positive with COVID-19 still need to isolate for seven days. Maintaining good hygiene habits is also recommended. This  includes hand washing, sanitizing your hands and sneezing or coughing into your elbow.

Go to the official COVID-19 website for more information.
