Cruz'n the Bayz revs up for its second year with three days of events planned from Taipā to Paihia, including the Klassic Car Show highlight on Saturday that will see parts of Kerikeri closed to traffic.

The Kerikeri Klassic Car Show runs from 9am to 1pm, with roads closed from 7am to 1pm. The roads affected are Kerikeri Road between Homestead Road, Fairway Drive and Cobham Road, and from Kerikeri Road to Hobson Avenue. More information about road closures can be found here.

The three-day event kicks off tomorrow (Friday 8 March) at Waitangi, then heads through Taipā, Mangōnui, Te Ngaere Bay and Waipapa, finishing with a night cruise at 5pm in Paihia.

Following the Kerikeri event on Saturday, the group heads to Russell on Sunday 10 March before heading back to Waitangi sports grounds for an afternoon of fun and festivities from midday with a local market and food stalls.

Cruz'n the Bayz is a multi-location car and bike event that lets registered participants view stunning scenery and experience Northland's friendly hospitality. Designated stops allow time for the public to view the vehicles and interact with car owners and enthusiasts.

It is organised by the National Street Rod Association Northland, with financial support from the Far North's community boards.

For more information on the three-day event, view the Cruz'n the Bayz website here.
