The iconic Kerikeri Street party is back

The Bay of Islands much-loved annual street party returns to Kerikeri town centre this November and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The Bay of Islands much-loved annual street party returns to Kerikeri town centre this November and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

On 19 November from 5pm to 9.30pm the street party takes place after the Kerikeri Half Marathon has concluded, Kerikeri’s central shopping business district is closed to traffic and transformed into a vibrant boulevard of food, local craft beer and wine stalls, with multiple stages and roving entertainment. The event has become iconic for Northlanders, drawing crowds of visitors to the region in previous years. The street party was postponed in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The event has been made possible again thanks to support of local business sponsors, as well as the Northland Inc Regional Event Fund, and $10,0000 contributed by Far North District Council Events Investment Fund.

Tickets are $10 for adults from Eventfinda or The Sound Lounge and include the booking fee. Entry for students and seniors is by koha. Kerikeri Charitable Trust has been chosen as this year’s local recipient of a donation based on ticket sales and koha collection. The donation will support their community projects, specifically a ‘Free Christmas in the Domain’ event for the Far North in December.

Further details and updates can be found here. You can also follow the event on Facebook.
