Te Puāwaitanga - Bay of Islands Sports Hub

Nominations are now open for board members to guide Te Puāwaitanga through the next stages of its sporting life. Nominees can find the application form here. After downloading and completing the form, please send it to info@sportnorth.co.nz by Friday 27 March 2026.

Te Puāwaitanga-Bay of Islands Sports Hub is a council-owned and operated multi-sports facility that opened in 2025. It offers two sand-based and three soil-based fields, three bus bays, a toilet and changing block. It is located opposite the Waipapa retail area on State Highway 10.

The sports hub is open Tuesday to Sunday from 7am-7pm.
