Results for the Local Election 2025 will be posted here when they become available. The information below outlines how the systematic counting of votes will unfold.
Progressive results
Progressive results released on Saturday 11 October show the voting count based on ballots papers cast before 5pm on Friday 10 October. This early count reflects about 90 per cent of all votes but is not the final count. Progressive results do not include votes cast on Saturday before midday or special votes. All special votes still need to be validated.
The final count will include all votes, including special votes, and is expected on Friday 17 October.

Preliminary results
Preliminary election results show the voting count based on ballot papers cast up until midday on Saturday 11 October. Special votes will still need to be counted at this stage, so the final results will not yet be known.
