We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

Operative plan

The Operative Far North District Plan 2009 is a planning document that manages land use and subdivision in the district. This document determines whether a resource consent is required for your development.

Removal of minimum carparking requirements
