Detours and delays for Kerikeri state highway resurfacing

Waka Kotahi will be resurfacing State Highway 10 at the intersection of Wiroa and Kerikeri roads tomorrow Thursday 2 March between 9am and 3pm.

**UPDATE 2 March**

Work to resurface a section of State Highway 10 including the Kerikeri roundabout will not occur today as previously stated. The work has been deferred due to other urgent roading work underway on the proposed detour route. The resurfacing work will be rescheduled for a more suitable time

Waka Kotahi will be resurfacing State Highway 10 at the intersection of Wiroa and Kerikeri roads tomorrow Thursday 2 March between 9am and 3pm.

A section of State Highway 10 including the Kerikeri roundabout will be closed during the work. Detours will be in place via Te Ahu Ahu, Wiroa and Waimate North roads. Access to Kerikeri township during this time will be via Waimate Road.

Waka Kotahi is also warning of delays for SH10 traffic north of Waipapa at Kapiro on Friday 3 March between 9am and 1pm. The agency will be resurfacing the highway and will have Stop/Go traffic management and speed restrictions in place.
