VIDEO - Barrier Air lands at Bay of Islands Airport
Competitive airfares are now a reality for air travellers on the Kerikeri-Auckland route as Barrier Air commences regular return flights from Bay of Islands Airport from 4 August 2024.
Operating 22 flights per week, Barrier Air is taking advantage of capacity at the new and improved terminal at Kerikeri (KKE) which is already welcoming more than 130,000 passengers per year. The bigger terminal was built from scratch by the council’s commercial arm, Far North Holdings Ltd. in 2019. Barrier Air’s existing service between Kaitāia and Auckland remains unchanged.
