Night works scheduled for Kerikeri Rd

Roading contractors will be repairing sections of the district’s busiest road with the work being undertaken at night in an effort to reduce disruption to motorists.

Ventia and Far North Roading will be working along much of Kerikeri Road starting tonight Monday 29 September between 7pm and 6am the next morning. The work be weather dependent with alternate work nights to be announced if required.

The work will be focused on repairing faults in the road surface and will include milling out sections of damaged seal, stabilising the road foundation and then resealing.

Where necessary, traffic will be reduced to one lane with traffic management in place.
