Housing for the elderly The Council offers Housing for the Elderly units in 12 complexes across the district to eligible tenants over the age of 60 and who are on a benefit.

Our Libraries We have six Council-run libraries in the Far North, each a destination in their own right, whether for the building or for the collections they house - or both! We also have a mobile library.
Parks, playgrounds and reserves We maintain around 500 hectares of parks and reserves in over 30 locations throughout the Far North.
